Job Purpose:

A pivotal role in the success of ACM’s conference portfolio, you will be calling existing or potential customers on a daily basis to achieve ACM’s delegate acquisition and revenue growth objectives for each conference. The role focuses on having a sound knowledge of ACM brands and events and using this knowledge to generate client interest, qualify prospects, and close deals. You will work within a dedicated delegate sales team and receive regular training and mentoring from an experienced Line Manager in order to provide you with the customized tools and techniques to meet your targets.

Main Tasks:
  • Develop strong knowledge about each ACM conference within your assigned portfolio using all available information including; topic brief, sales brief, brochures, web sites, post-show reports.
  • Create and build a targeted Marketing List using the CRM system for each conference within your assigned portfolio, according to the countries specified by the Producer.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects for your assigned conferences by researching relevant companies online and adding them to the Marketing List in the CRM system.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, generating qualified leads that meet the set qualification criteria and based on the agreed upon KPIs (daily, weekly, or monthly).
  • Generate delegate sales revenue in line with or above agreed targets and objectives.
  • Work closely with Line Manager to ensure agreed KPIs are consistently met.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Project Teams for your assigned conferences, providing updates on pipelines and customer feedback.
  • Enter, complete, and maintain accurate and timely sales data on the CRM, updating clients’ contact details where applicable.
  • Dispatch, receive and review signed contracts from clients ensuring that all recorded information is clear and accurate.
  • Ensure that all contracts are processed by the Accounting & Finance department and shared with the Operations Manager for your assigned conference.
  • Coordinate with the Credit Control to ensure all payments are made in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Attend conferences on-site to facilitate client satisfaction, network and generate new leads.
  • Uphold the core values and vision of ACM at all times with a strong, positive and customer orientated approach to clients.
Education:

BS /BA preferred

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in a sales job preferably with experience in telesales, telemarketing, or customer service

Required Languages:
  • English
  • Arabic or French are a plus
